Why I am running for NLMUSD School Board:

I have always believed that you send your children to your local schools. Education is a partnership between the parents, teachers and school staff. For the past 23 years I have been involved on many of our campuses and it is my belief that if there is something that is lacking or that can be done better, then you do not move to a different school, you step up and make things better.

When I completed my board tenure in 2024, I still stayed involved as Chair of the Measure G Citizens Oversight Committee, attending school events, donating books to our elementary schools and The Very Berry Library, and keeping in touch with our educators and district staff.  I believe you treat everyone with respect, and remember that as an NLMUSD Board Member, you serve the students, parents, and support Admin, Classified, and Staff to the best of my abilities.
